• St. Anthony Health Foundation 2013 Annual Report

  • Words cannot express the depth of our gratitude for the outpouring of support St. Anthony Health Foundation received from you - our generous donors - in fiscal year 2013. Thanks to your generosity, St. Anthony Health Foundation experienced an unprecedented year!

Your gifts support our mission in so many ways - saving lives, caring and healing, nurturing health, and touching the world. At a time when healthcare faces a future of uncertainty, you keep us grounded. Your financial contributions guide our work in directions that bring us back, every day, to the spirit of the Sisters of St. Francis who started St. Anthony Hospital, in another time of uncertainty, more than 120 years ago. You remind us that there are kind and compassionate people who will step forward to ensure that lives are saved, injuries repaired, illnesses healed, and families strengthened, to build a better tomorrow.

Thanks to you, Flight for Life Colorado's 40th Anniversary gift, a new Eurocopter AS 350B3E helicopter, will add horse power and safety to high-mountain rescues for years to come. Your gifts made it possible for Lodging and Support Services to find affordable hotel rooms for 2,922 out-of-town families of patients in intensive care at St. Anthony Hospital and to subsidize the cost of hotel rooms for those who couldn't even afford the lower rates.

Thanks to your gifts to St. Anthony's neurosciences program, stroke survivors and their caregivers, attended a 3-day Retreat and Refresh Stroke Camp, as a respite from stress and an opportunity to learn how to adjust to their "new normal" lives.

You made it possible for St. Anthony Hospital's global health initiatives to ship 50 tons of medical equipment to the Bach Mai Hospital in Hanoi, Vietnam, and to reach out to a struggling hospital in Gros Morne, Haiti.

These are only a few of the many programs and services made possible by your gifts to St. Anthony Health Foundation. The 2013 Annual Report provides a small window through which you can take a peek at the ways in which your generosity works every day - saving lives, caring and healing, nurturing health, and touching the world.
